Persepolis and my bruise

So far today I have:
-gone to Film Theory (and not actually slept)
-drawn a mustache on my index finger so I can make people laugh when I stifle a sneeze
-done well on a Chemistry test
-noticed a bruise on my shin from last night*
-had a short workout in the gym

*Last night, after being in the most dismally irrelevant Film History night class ever, I rushed through the student center to grab something to eat (Quizno's!) and then across to the Forum to see Persepolis, which is a film about a girl growing up in Iran under the Shah's revolution, and then subsequently expatriating herself to Europe.  The movie is based on a graphic novel of the same name, and it's animated beautifully.  Anyway, important foreign film in the Forum.  It was really dark when I walked in, because the movie had already begun.  Jenny and Jeremy were saving me a seat... somewhere?  So I decided to just stand at the back until I could see them.  En route to the back of one side of the room, there was a poorly placed coffee table.  I hit it with my left leg, thought nothing of it, and slammed into it with my right.  Then I stumbled and had to catch myself with my hands on the tabletop.  It's hard to blame the girl that was sitting on a stool right next to this incident, but when she laughed, I was incensed.  If not for a movie playing, I probably would have said something to her.  Fortunately for everyone, there was a movie.

Hence, I have a wonderfully purple and green bruise on my right shin.  There's a knot to match!  Good thing it's too cool to really wear shorts today.

And there you have it.
